Grants Pass Tall and Beautiful Christmas Tree!
Come to this year's Annual Holiday Plaza, Grants Pass Christmas Tree Lighting and Holiday Event - brought to you because of the generosity of Evergreen Federal Bank, AllCare Health, Logan Design, the City of Grants Pass, and the members of the Grants Pass Towne Center Association.
This year marks the eighth year of this holiday event with the lighting of a 40+ foot yule tree that is donated by Grants Pass resident George Jones (owner of Grants Pass-based Jones Forest Products, which specializes in harvesting and delivering large fir trees that range in size from 40 to 100 feet tall.)! Many people in this community, especially the businesses of the Towne Center Association, have come together to not only support this community-focused event - but to make it happen!
[After the opening event Santa visited with the attending children and will be available for children's visits on a regular schedule at the Santa's Workshop in the Holiday Plaza - see local postings and this website for more details.]
It would be impossible to have this event without our sponsors, donors and contributors. The TCA's heartfelt "THANK YOU!" goes to the following for making it happen:
City of Grants Pass
Jones Forest Products
Grants Pass Rentals
Grants Pass Fire Department
Josephine County Library
Southern Oregon Audio Visual
Conrad Digital Design
Mike's Water Truck Services
Plum Creek Timber
Diamond Home Improvement
We encourage you to also thank them in person, on the phone, or by stopping in to visit them!
More of this year's Holiday Plaza Activities include Caroling, Historical players, Craft area, Gift Wrapping & Hot Cider give away - and will be announced later.
