With decades of experience in the antiques, collectibles, and home decorating business(es), Carl and Mimi Raskin have come to know, understand, and appreciate those odd passions we occasionally feel for a certain old posession, whether it be an old and valuable historic family heirloom, or simply an effective and trustworthy household appliance.

Such is often (if not especially) the case with lighting. From desk lamps to crystal chandeliers, people tend to develop special relationships with their favorite lamps, which makes it especially frustrating (not to mention dangerous!) when electrical problems occur — but the solution is simple:

Wherever in Oregon you happen to live ~ or even if you're from Washington, Idaho or California ~ if a lamp you love is suffering, just bring it to Elegance in beautiful downtown Grants Pass and our resident Lamp Doctor will make it all better again!

With over 10,000 square feet of floorspace, is it any wonder that Elegance is one of the Rogue Valley's largest antique, gift, AND wine shops? Not bad for a business whose real specialty is lighting!

Here you can find every type of lamp you've ever seen, heard of, or imagined--vintage, modern, and contemporary--or if you have a favorite old and faithful luminary appliance that is in need of repair, this is the place to find the parts you'll need to get the job done right. Or bring it in to have it rewired, repaired, or otherwise renovated by our resident Lamp Doctor.

While you're here, be sure to check out the second floor, where in addition to lamps, more lamps, books, antiques, and still more lamps, you'll also find an enormous selection of cookie jars!

Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 'til 6, and on First Friday Art Nights until 9, almost always featuring a wine tasting event (usually with a token tasting fee.)
